Are you receiving late clinic letters?

We have become aware that some out-patient clinic letters may be arriving in primary care after a considerable delay.

Has this happened to you? We’d be most grateful if you could get in touch to let us know what happened, and what impact the delay had on patient care.

Please email the details to, or directly to Cheryl Shearer (Quality and Patient Safety Co-ordinator) at, ideally with copies to the GP Liaison team.

Many thanks for your help.
