Advance care planning one-day workshop

Registrations are now open for the Advanced Care Planning Cooperative’s Level 1A workshops in the Bay of Plenty.

For the first time, a workshop will be offered at the Clinical School, Whakatane Hospital (11 April) as well as at Waipuna Hospice (24 May) in Tauranga.

The RNZCGP released a policy brief on ACP (click here to view) in September 2017, saying ‘it is important GPs have the skills and resources to undertake advance care planning conversations effectively”.

This one-day workshop is worth 6.7 CME credits and funded by BOPDHB.

To register, complete the registration form (click here to download) and return to ellen.fisher@bopdhb.govt.nz or phone 027 550 7268.
