Stroke Pathway - Return to Work

PATHS support is available for those that meet the following criteria:

  • Patients need to be of work age 18-65.
  • Be on a jobseeker sickness or invalids benefit.
  • Have a health barrier (stroke- residual effects, limb weakness, memory problems etc).
  • Require funding support so that they can return to work full time/ part time or retraining. Things that can be covered include: cognitive neurological functional assessments, gym/pool fitness, intensive physiotherapy managed re-habilitation programs, usually lasting up to 8 weeks.
